Wingback chair before
Coral Wingback chair finished

deep buttoned Coral wingback chair

This wingback was rescued from a barn and was headed for the tip.  We transformed this piece for a BBC One show, Flipping Profit.

The chair was stripped back to the frame and the legs were sanded and repainted.  New foam was added throughout.  We chose two Osborne & Little fabrics to bring some colour back to this beautiful wingback.  Finally studs were added to highlight the chairs shape.

Osvaldo Borsani’s D70 tecno sofa

Our client had found this sofa online for a great price but it was in terrible condition.  It was stripped back to the metal frame and the rust and uneven surface was sanded in order to achieve an even finish for the satin paint.

We added new pirelli webbing, new foam (firm, at the clients request) and cut the curved shape in.  The textural Camira fabric really brought it to life!  We followed images online to create the iconic design for the overall shape, design details and the facers.  A little polish on the handles and it was complete!

Several thick layers of blue, green and white paint were meticulously stripped, sanded and erased to reveal the beautiful wood underneath.  We then dyed and varnished the wood as per the clients chosen colour.

The upholstery was also entirely redone and the chair was webbed, sprung and a foam layer was added. It was covered in a Covertex fabric with double piping.
